Jets recall Kristian Vesalainen

The Winnipeg Jets road forward just became a bit tougher with Adam Lowry gone from the lineup for the next while. They will be replacing him with Kristian Vesalainen. I have not seen any AHL games this year so I do not know how Vesalainen has been playing, but it is a tough league to score in and he is still adjusting to North America this season.

That said, the loss of Lowry will once again change the makeup of the Jets lines. It is likely that Andrew Copp will shift to centre the third line and Vesalainen will play on the third or fourth line with Jansen Harkins playing in the other spot. The Jets current play could lead to more offensive shakeups as is and could really change the shape of the Jets lineup. All will come out tomorrow night against the Carolina Hurricanes. That game will also be important to the Jets turning things around or not. You want to go into a break hot.

One more update: Bryan Little has been out since November when he got hit in the head with a puck. While he is not expected to return any time soon, he is skating with the team again.
