Jets Sign Josh Morrissey To A Long Term Extension!

While we await the signings of Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor, the Jets extended cornerstone defenseman Josh Morrissey

The summer slumber has ended for the Winnipeg Jets, with a flurry of recent activity, starting with the Blake Wheeler interview with TSN yesterday, and today with news of the signing of Josh Morrissey to a long term contract extension.

This is excellent news for the Jets who have managed to extend their best defenseman at a reasonable cap hit of $6.25 million on average over eight seasons.
