Playoff hockey is almost here, and the Jets have lost five of their last seven games. Yes Jets fans, there is cause for alarm. A win tonight in Denver at least guarantees them home ice advantage in round one of the playoffs. It won’t be easy for the Jets as Colorado needs to win tonight as they are still battling the Arizona Coyotes for the final wildcard spot. Brandon Tanev is out courtesy of a slash to the hand/wrist from Eric Staal. It looks like Par Lindholm will take his place in the line up.
Jet fans will also be watching the out of town scoreboards hoping for Nashville and St. Louis losses. I hope that the players only meeting, combined with the memory of the 7 – 1 pasting the Jets took last time they were at the Pepsi Center motivates the Jets. Perhaps the team should watch some video footage of the Jets from April 2018. Remember that team? That was you! Play like them!
Adam Lowry goal. If anyone remembers the beat down last time in Denver, it is Lowry.
