GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Anaheim Ducks

Time: 9:00 CST

TV: TSN 3

Radio: TSN 1290

Introduction:

The last time these two teams met the Jets roasted the Ducks 9 – 3, with Jack Roslovic scoring a hat trick. Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun reports that Nathan Beaulieu was not on the ice for the game day skate. Watching the replay of the punches he took from Kyle Clifford in LA, I was wondering whether perhaps he might have ended up in concussion protocol. He looked like he was almost knocked out. Joe Morrow goes back in the line up tonight.

It’s been a tough season for the Ducks; one that cost Randy Carlyle his job. The Ducks have a veteran team so I suspect that they will want to atone for such a poor showing last time against the Jets. The Jets hope to leave California with a second win as things just get tougher for them as they head to Vegas tomorrow night to face the Golden Knights. Speed, pace and a quick start seem to the recipe for success against a struggling Ducks squad.
