Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Calgary Flames

Time: 6:00 PM CST

Channel: SportsnetWest, SportsnetPacific

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets are playing the Calgary Flames in a game that could probably become crazy fun for the fans and terrible for the coaches. The Flames have struggled with goaltending and the Jets have struggled with defending for a while now and if it all comes to head tonight, we will be the real winners.

The Jets will have their hands full with Johnny Gaudreau and company, but will also be able to take a bit of a break thanks to the Flames loving Garnett Hathaway. The Jets have not even played Matt Hendricks since they traded for him. Oh glorious days (watch as they play him tonight to spite me).

The Jets defence will have their hands full, but the offence should be able to do some damage as well, especially if Mike Smith is playing. If Mike Smith plays, the Jets could score some weird goals and they would make perfect sense because of him. He is bad at handling the puck and yet does it all the time. It leads to some great adventures for everyone else. Alas, David Rittich will probably play and show why he is known as Big Save Dave just to mess with us.
