Introduction:
There is always electricity in the air when a storied, original six franchise like the Boston Bruins visits Bell MTS Centre. Playoff position changes virtually nightly, so there is very little room for error for the Jets. Including tonight’s game, the Jets only have six home games remaining. They close out the regular season with a four game road trip in early April. What this means is that the Jets need to take care of business on home ice. The Bell MTS Centre is a hard place for visiting teams to win games, and the Jets need every home win they can muster to avoid dropping in the playoff race. The second line of Kyle Connor-Kevin Hayes-Nikolaj Ehlers needs to contribute offensively. Mark Scheifele needs to start putting up points again. And, we need to see Vezina trophy nominee level Connor Hellebuyck from now until the end of the playoffs.
Random Prediction(s):
Kyle Connor with the game winner!
Nathan Beaulieu puts a nice body check on Brad Marchand.
