NHL: San Jose Sharks at Edmonton Oilers Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks recalled left winger Max Jones from AHL San Diego and reassigned defenceman Korbinian Holzer. They recalled right winger Troy Terry and reassigned right winger Adam Cracknell. Goaltender Jhonas Enroth, who was last under contract with Anaheim in 2017, has signed for the remainder of the season in Sweden with the SHL’s Orebro HK.

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes reassigned left winger Michael Bunting to AHL Tucson.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins reassigned defenceman Steven Kampfer to AHL Providence for conditioning purposes. They recalled centre Karson Kuhlman. Right winger Lee Stempniak, who attended training camp this fall with Boston, has signed a PTO with AHL Providence.

Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres made no moves this week.

Calgary Flames

The Flames reassigned defenceman Rinat Valiev to AHL Stockton. They recalled centre Curtis Lazar.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes recalled defenceman Haydn Fleury from AHL Charlotte. They recalled right winger Patrick Brown.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks recalled left winger Dylan Sikura from AHL Rockford. They signed goaltender Collin Delia to a three-year contract extension.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche reassigned defenceman Anton Lindholm to AHL Colorado. They recalled centre Tyson Jost. They recalled centre Dominic Toninato.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets acquired a conditional 2019 draft pick from Pittsburgh. They recalled left winger Eric Robinson from AHL Cleveland and reassigned centre Mark Letestu. They recalled right winger Kole Sherwood on an emergency basis.

Dallas Stars

The Stars reassigned right winger Denis Guryanov to AHL Texas. They recalled right winger Joel L’Esperance.

Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings reassigned defenceman Dennis Cholowski and right winger Martin Frk to AHL Grand Rapids.

Edmonton Oilers

The Oilers acquired goaltender Anthony Stolarz from Philadelphia.

Florida Panthers

The Panthers recalled left winger Jamie McGinn from AHL Springfield.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings acquired a 2019 fourth-round pick from Montreal. They reassigned right winger Jonny Brodzinski to AHL Ontario for conditioning purposes.

Minnesota Wild

The Wild made no moves this week.

Montreal Canadiens

The Canadiens acquired right winger Dale Weise and defenceman Christian Folin from Philadelphia and reassigned Weise to AHL Laval. They reassigned defenceman Karl Alzner. They acquired centre Nate Thompson and a 2019 fifth-round pick from Los Angeles. They reassigned centre Michael Chaput.

Right winger Joel Ward has retired from pro hockey. Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006 by the Minnesota Wild, Ward has 304 points (133G, 171A) in 726 games, as well as 52 points (22G, 30A) in 83 playoff games, for Minnesota (2006/07), Nashville (2008/09-2010/11), Washington (2011/12-2014/15), and San Jose (2015/16-2017/18), establishing career-highs of 24 goals, 25 assists, and 49 points, all in 2014 with the Capitals. Ward, 38, finished his last NHL season with 12 points (5G, 7A) in 52 games for the Sharks and attended training camp with the Canadiens. Ward was released from training camp and had no contract offers before deciding to retire.

Nashville Predators

The Predators made no moves this week.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils recalled right winger Nick Lappin and defenceman Ryan Murphy from AHL Binghamton. They claimed right winger Kenny Agostino off waivers from Montreal. They reassigned Murphy.

New York Islanders

The Rangers acquired a 2020 seventh-round pick from Vancouver. They reassigned centre Vinni Lettieri to AHL Hartford. They recalled left winger Connor Brickley.
