The Winnipeg Jets are playing their first game of a home and home with the Dallas Stars. This will be a big two games for the Jets who are looking to put some distance between themselves and the Wild Card teams including the Dallas Stars.

The Jets will be without Dmitry Kulikov until mid-January and do not have Sami Niku available to be recalled due to injury in the AHL. The Jets will be making do with what they have as they have been doing all season.
