Apologies for how this looks. I am sick and will be watching this game to recap it, even if I miss parts of it. It sounds like Winnipeg native Dylan McIlrath is out of the lineup for the Detroit Red Wings. Michigan native Connor Hellebuyck will be getting the start for in his home state.
The Jets should win this game. They are the far superior team, but like all teams they can be beaten on any given day. They had a close call against the Anaheim Ducks, but they ended up winning in the end. They can only hope that they are able to win tonight in Detroit.
