Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Columbus Blue Jackets

Time: 6:00 PM CST

Channel: Sportsnet West

The Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets are facing off tonight in a game where the Jets are coming off of a loss and the Blue Jackets remain a struggling team. They are out of a playoff spot and are only playing .500 hockey recently.

The Jets had a rough start against the Dallas Stars in their last game and it came back to bite them in the end. If it wasn’t for those six minutes in the first period, they might have won. But they have had rough first periods for a while and one was bound to come back and bite them.

As for the Blue Jackets; they are going into American Thanksgiving week out of the playoffs and struggling. They need to be a better team if they make the playoffs. They have some good players, but after losing their starting goalie and most dynamic player they are still looking for that something more to make them a winning team again.

The Jets are in the perfect spot to rebound against a team that they should find success against. And while they are firmly in a playoff position right now, based on how tight the Western Conference is this year, the Jets need to keep with their winning ways if they want to make the playoffs again.

Prediction:

I will think that Sergei Bobrovsky is in the Columbus net at least once tonight.
