Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs San Jose Sharks

Time: 9:30 PM CDT

Channel: TSN3

Radio: TSN1290

The San Jose Sharks got off to a brutal start that they have not recovered from. Even though the signing of Patrick Marleau has been great for them, they might have given themselves too much to overcome when it comes to a place in the playoffs. That said we know that while the St. Louis Blues are the exception and not the rule, anything is possible.

While the Sharks are still struggling, the Winnipeg Jets have been living in bizarro land lately. Dustin Byfuglien still has not made a decision on his playing future and has instead gone and had procedure done on his ankle leaving us with more questions than answers. And while Nikolaj Ehlers fully deserves to be on the first power play unit, taking Patrik Laine off of it to do so makes little sense.

The Jets and Sharks are two teams that are probably equal to their records even though they could be better. They are who we thought they were and both teams are making for some fun seasons because of it. Who will they sell at the trade deadline if it comes to that?

Prediction:

Not a prediction, but I will have a cup of tea late at night so I can stay up for the whole game. As for the game, the Jets and Sharks will play a fun game and hockey will win because fun must be always.
