Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs New Jersey Devils

Time: 6:00 PM CDT

Channel: TSN3

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets are looking to get into the win column tonight against the New Jersey Devils. The Devils will look a lot different from last year with the additions of P.K. Subban and Jack Hughes. Outside of these two additions, the Devils have a fully healthy Taylor Hall and Cory Schneider. Things might be looking up in New Jersey.

The Jets could be in tough tonight. Unless there are personnel changes on defence, not much will change there. The forwards will probably stay the same with Nikolaj Ehlers looking fine with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. As for Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor: it is early for them, but they both looked good.

I would expect Laurent Brossoit to get the start tonight and hopefully we get Brossoit of early last season who was lights out good for the Jets. If it is later season Brossoit the Jets will still get some solid goaltending, just not lights-out stuff.
