Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Anaheim Ducks

Time: 5:00 PM CST

Channel: TSN3

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets are playing another one of the worst teams in the Western Conference in the Anaheim Ducks. They will be playing a team that recently gave up a three goal lead and lost 7-4. This should be good.

The Jets have looked off for most of the year and no one quite knows why. Even though he is scoring, Kyle Connor has not been playing well and Patrik Laine has been fairly cold at even strength all year. Something is not working and Paul Maurice needs to work with his players to fix it.

Outside of that, the Jets are in an okay place, but they are dealing with some injuries: Dustin Byfuglien should be out about two more weeks with an ankle injury and Nikolaj Ehlers about four with an upper body injury. There is also Tyler Myers who missed last game with an injury.

Outside of these injuries, the game today should be a fairly standard one. The Ducks are bad and need wins. Outside of John Gibson, they have been struggling to do anything right. The Jets have been able to get wins all year despite playing below their best. It is a stark contrast and one that the Jets need to take advantage of by playing a full game and putting the Ducks away.
