It ends tonight. The Winnipeg Jets FINALLY wrap up their pre-season with a home game against the New Jersey Devils. There are still many decisions to be made, but most of the spots have been solidified and cuts should be made tomorrow. The Jets do not have to submit a final roster until closer to the season opener and therefore can take some time with Nic Petan especially.
Outside of this, the game has no consequences and the Jets do not even play the New Jersey Devils often. They will be starting Connor Hellebuyck and they will be playing Tyler Myers on his natural side (with Joe Morrow). They will also be playing Sami Niku with Tucker Poolman, which leads me to believe both will be sent to the Manitoba Moose tomorrow.
Nikolaj Ehlers will be getting the night off and Mathieu Perreault will be playing in his presumed place instead. However, maybe the decision has been made to split up Laine and Ehlers at even strength this year and that is a-okay.

Mathieu Perreault/Bryan Little/Patrik Laine
Kristian Vesalainen/Jack Roslovic/Marko Dano
