Winnipeg Jets sign Skyler McKenzie

McKenzie was a 7th round pick of the Jets in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

The Winnipeg Jets signed Skyler Mckenize to a three-year entry level contract today, with a cap hit of $741,666 each year.

The 20-year-old, 7th round draft pick of the Jets in 2017 spent last season with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL, before playing in three AHL playoff games with the Manitoba Moose, where he tallied one goal.

McKenzie had 47 goals and 87 points in 72 regular season games with Portland last year, and another eight points in 12 playoff games. McKenzie had 212 points in 282 games over his WHL career, all with Portland.
