Marko Dano has re-signed with the Winnipeg Jets on a one-year, $800k contract, avoiding an arbitration hearing scheduled for July 30.
Dano was originally acquired by the Jets in the Andrew Ladd trade that saw Dano and a 2016 1st round pick (the Jets traded this pick away to move up to select Logan Stanley) go to the Chicago Blackhawks at the 2016 NHL trade deadline in exchange for Ladd, Jay Harrison and Matt Fraser.

In his time with the Jets, Dano has appeared in 82 games, with 10 goals and 12 assists during that time (that’s 22 points for those of you keeping track at home). He has career totals of 19 goals and 26 assists in 130 NHL games split between the Jets, Blackhawks and the Columbus Blue Jackets, who drafted him in the 1st round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Josh Morrissey, Nic Petan, Eric Comrie, J.C. Lipon and Nicolas Kerdiles remain restricted free agents for the Jets.
