The Winnipeg Jets look to recreate a dominate game one tonight when they face off against the Vegas Golden Knights in game two. The Jets were able to take the play to the Golden Knights in game one and looked excellent doing it.
The Jets were able to use an active defence to their advantage in game one. Dustin Byfuglien especially was all over the place. Expect much of the same in game two as it probably makes the man to man style of defence that the Golden Knights employ.
Another piece of success that the Jets will want replicate is how they got to Marc-Andre Fleury. Fleury has been stellar these playoffs and the Jets were able to get to him. This is a good thing if it continues. The Jets will need to continue their excellent pressing of offence and numerous shots through traffic to get to Fleury though.
The Jets will have to continue to work to contain the Golden Knights potent offence and break Fleury, but if game one is any indication, they should be able to do it in the long run.
