After taking a handful of solid, if not questionable, hits in the second period, Mathieu Perreault exited the game in the second period and will not return with a suspected shoulder injury.

After Mikko Koivu set a pick on Perreault earlier in the second that appeared to cause the winger discomfort, Perreault absorbed a couple of other checks before being slammed to the ice by Nick Seeler, at which point he headed down the tunnel.
