Defenceman Christian Ehrhoff, who was last in the NHL in training camp with Boston, has retired from pro hockey. Drafted in the fourth round, 106th overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, Ehrhoff has 339 points (74G, 265A) in 789 games, as well as 34 points (7G, 27A) in 73 playoff games, for San Jose (2003/04-2008/09), Vancouver (2009/10-2010/11), Buffalo (2011/12-2013/14), Pittsburgh (2014/15), Los Angeles (part of 2015/16), and Chicago (part of 2015/16).
