Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Chicago Blackhawks

Time: 7:00 PM CDT

Channel: TSN3, NBCSCH

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets will be happy to be home after a 3-2-1 road trip that saw them survive with only a handful of new injuries. No big deal.

The list of walking wounded for the Jets (41-1910) looks like it could be shrinking a bit tonight, as Paul Stastny will return after missing Tuesday’s game and Jacob Trouba looks poised to return after a lengthy stretch recuperating from an ankle sprain.

Despite losing their last three, the Jets remain in good shape, sitting in second place in the Central with a seven point buffer over Minnesota. They have also benefited from the play of Patrik Laine, who continues to ride a point streak that is now up to 13 games.

Chicago and Winnipeg have met twice so far this season, with the Hawks winning in regulation both at home and on the road. Including tonight, the teams play three more times before the end of the regular season. Still time to win the season series!
