Preview: Winnipeg Jets versus St. Louis Blues

The Winnipeg Jets are back on the road after playing ten games at home and they are ready for it. With trade talk swirling around with speculation tying the Jets to the Ottawa Senators Derick Brassard, the Jets are ready to take the ice again to face their divisional rival St. Louis Blues.

The Blues and Jets played each other in back-to-back games earlier this season with the Jets running roughshod over the Blues. While the Blues are a good team with good players, they play a more passive style it seems which does their team not good against faster teams like the Jets.

As for the Jets, they are still tinkering with their lines after moving Patrik Laine and Nikolaj Ehlers to the third line in an effort to get them with a player who plays to their strengths. This is the beauty of having Jack Roslovic and Kyle Connor effectively make the team as injury call ups: the Jets have gained more flexibility overall.

Prediction:

I end up watching more Big Air Snowboarding then hockey tonight and the recap reflects that. (This is highly, highly plausible so be warned)
