Winnipeg Jets recall Tucker Poolman

After sending Tucker Poolman down to the Manitoba Moose last night to play a game, they have called him back up so he can return to his role as the Winnipeg Jets number seven defenceman until Jacob Trouba returns. Poolman has been with the Jets most of the year, but has not played in a NHL game since Tyler Myers? returned to health. It has been such a long time it is hard to remember the details.

Ben Chiarot will continue to play his off-side while Poolman observes from the press box. The Jets are expecting to have Jacob Trouba back before the end of the regular season and that point it is expected that Poolman will be returned to the AHL until the Moose are out of the playoffs and the Jets call up their black aces.

The Jets play tomorrow night in St. Louis against the Blues. Tonight Canada goes for medals in the Men’s Big Air snowboarding.
