Sorry for the lack of proper thread. The Winnipeg Jets are playing the Los Angeles Kings in the final game of a 10 game home stand. The Kings recently underwent a roster shake up when they traded veteran forward Marian Goborik for veteran defenceman Dion Phaneuf.
The Jets are still waiting for Adam Lowry, Jacob Trouba, and Brandon Tanev to return to health. It sounds like Lowry is closer than Trouba and it is hard to say what Paul Maurice said about Tanev as I did not hear it. All three players should be back by the playoffs.
The Jets are not concerned about starting goalie Connor Hellebuyck’s work load, but they should probably keep an eye on him. Either Michael Hutchinson or Steve Mason has been skating recently.
Outside of that, the game is on TSN3. There is curling, women’s short programs in figure skating, and men’s ski cross on the Olympics tonight if Dustin Brown starts making you too mad.
