GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs New York Islanders

Time: 6:00 PM CST

TV: TSN3

Radio: TSN 1290

Introduction:

The Winnipeg Jets close out their three game Eastern road trip at Barclays Arena in Brooklyn against the New York Islanders. The Islanders are coming off of a win against the Columbus Blue Jackets at their true home, storied (but apparently dumpy) Nassau Coliseum. The Jets won back to back games against the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers thanks in large part to NHL first star of the week, Mark Schiefele. Andrew Copp is out tonight as he “isn’t feeling well” according to coach Paul Maurice, which I believe is code for returned too soon from a concussion.

Random Oddly Specific Prediction:

Patrick Laine gets two points tonight – both secondary assists – keeping him on pace for 15 assists for the season.
