Introduction:

The Winnipeg Jets are on Hockey Night in Canada tonight against the young, talented Vancouver Canucks. Laurent Brossoit gets the start in goal tonight as the Jets look to get a win before the Christmas break. It looks like Adam Lowry will be a game time decision in terms of being able to play. The Vancouver Canucks are coming off of a 5 – 1 win Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues at home. The last meeting between these two clubs ended in a decisive 6-3 victory for the Jets. The fight for the final playoff spot in the Western conference starts now, so the Canucks need to put together some wins or they may be out of the race as early as February.
