Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Vancouver Canucks

The Winnipeg Jets look to bounce back from an overtime loss to the Edmonton McDavids Oilers. The Jets were beaten on a goal by Darnell Nurse, but it was Connor McDavid who truly beat them. Have no fear, the Jets will not be facing McDavid again and they will also not be facing Elias Pettersson who is out with a concussion.

The Canucks are going through rebuild right now and without Pettersson their forwards will be rough. Following the retirement of the Sedins, the young Swede has taken up the mantle of being awesome for them. In his absence, look for Bo Horvat and keep an eye on Chris Tanev and Trot Stecher on defence. There is also the players to watch for other reasons like Erik Gudbranson who is on a Show-Me contract.

As for the Jets, Dustin Byfuglien is playing tonight meaning our two game nightmare of no Byfuglien is over. I am assuming that Dmitry Kulikov will come out of the lineup for him. Outside of that, it is unlikely that the Jets lineup will change.
