The Jets are back! The Winnipeg Jets are playing the Carolina Hurricanes in a game that is sure to be a doozy. The Canes have long been a team with great pieces and nothing to show for it. They have collected points in their first five games and seem to finally be fulfilling the promise that their roster has shown.

Backstopped by Connor Hellebuyck, the Jets have struggled with old problems like penalty killing, penalty taking, and the defensive zone as a whole. The Jets will not have Hellebuyck tonight, but Laurent Brossoit. Brossoit has so-so numbers in limited NHL action over the past three seasons. Hopefully the Jets get the good Brossoit tonight.
