The Winnipeg Jets sent forward Michael Spacek down to the Manitoba Moose on Monday morning, bringing the total amount of players left on the Jets’ roster to 26.

Of the names still in camp, Brendan Lemieux, Tucker Poolman and Logan Stanley are the next likeliest candidates to be sent down prior to the season opener against the Blues in St. Louis on Thursday. A decision will also have to be made regarding the status of Nic Petan before that date as well, which will impact who makes the opening night 23-player roster.
