The Winnipeg Jets are playing their final game before the bye week against divisional rival Minnesota Wild. They are hoping that the bye week will give some of their injured players time to recover. Until then, the Jets will keep on plugging along without their wounded.

Tonight Steve Mason is still out and has been sent back to Winnipeg to see a doctor. Shawn Matthias has also picked up an injury so Brendan Lemieux will play in his stead. Marko Dano will join his fellow board battler Joel Armia on the third line with Andrew Copp while Jack Roslovic joins Matt Hendricks and Lemieux on the fourth line. The top six and defence remains the same.

As for the Wild, they are a more up and down team than the Jets, but still a decent team in the Central. They did not play last night and should be fresher than the Jets. Outside of that, it’s the Wild. They are less boring now that Bruce Boudreau is their coach, but they are still the Wild. And Matt Dumba no longer wears number 55 so my juvenile brain doesn’t even have that. (sorry for the lack of Wild roster, but I am tired and hungry so food reigns supreme here)
