Dustin Byfuglien returns to practice

First of all, Happy New Year everyone. In the next coming weeks we should be moving towards more consistent game coverage and editorial writing again as I fill out our staff. Please hold tight and thank you for your patience.

In Winnipeg Jets news, Dustin Byfuglien has returned to practice and could play tomorrow night. This is huge news for the Jets as they have been without him and Tobias Enstrom for a while now. The defence has held together fine, but getting Byfuglien back will be huge for the team.

This means that if Paul Maurice follows what he did when Enstrom was hurt and Byfuglien was healthy, Ben Chiarot will remain in the lineup and Tucker Poolman will go back to being the seventh defenceman until Enstrom returns.

It is not clear if Jack Roslovic was taking regular line rotations or not. Connor Hellebuyck starts tomorrow night in Denver.
