After losing their first game 4-2 and allowing three goals in the first period, the Jets are aiming for a rebound game where their forwards do a better job at helping the defenders move the puck up the ice to create offence. The Jets had some rough moments on the penalty kill, but that is to expected as the team has not had a lot of time to work on special teams.
The Jets will not be playing Tucker Poolman again, although he has been cleared for contact. He will play tomorrow against the Calgary Flames.

Sami Niku played very well last night and will hopefully be able to build off of that game. The Jets will hopefully get a better performance out of their forwards as it is hard to evaluate the defencemen unless they have the support up front.
