The Winnipeg Jets are playing in their last preseason game against the Calgary Flames tonight. The roster they are playing tonight should be close to their opening day roster meaning those bubble players have to have strong games to make the team. This is not a great philosophy because of sample size, but unless a player has to face waivers to be sent down, it is not a big deal.
Steve Mason is on the roster for tonight and he will most likely play to get himself into a rhythm for the regular season. It is likely that either tonight or tomorrow cuts will be made to the team who still have to get their numbers down at every position except for goalie as Eric Comrie was sent down yesterday.
The game is not on TV tonight as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are playing a regular season game so you can either watch it through TSNGO or listen to it on the radio.
