The Winnipeg Jets are playing one of their stronger lineups tonight with the exception of the Jets top line of Mark Scheifele, Patrik Laine, and Blake Wheeler. However, once again Marko Dano will be playing as will Nic Petan and Kyle Connor. This combination could become a strong fourth line for the Jets if they choose to go that route.
The Jets are also playing a defence that looks very close to their opening day lineup with the exception of Tucker Poolman, who is probably destined for the AHL unless they waive Ben Chiarot instead, and the lack of Toby Enstrom means that we will see a near opening day roster set up there as well.
In goal even if Eric Comrie starts or plays part of the game it is likely he will still be sent down to the AHL at some point. It makes sense to keep him as the third goalie in camp until they set their roster as he is the third goalie on the depth chart (but might not be the first call up) and therefore should remain with the team until they need to name their roster.
No lines were available.
