Preview: Preseason Game 4 Calgary Flames at Winnipeg Jets

Time: 7:00 PM CST

TV: TSN3

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets are once again playing their A-team in the pre-season, something that will start becoming more common now as cuts are made. The Jets still have many AHL players in camp, but they will use the last four pre-season games to determine the fringe players on the roster and who will go to the AHL as a potential call up.

The most notable thing about tonight’s roster is the fact that Marko Dano is off the AHL line; now playing with Mathieu Perreault and Adam Lowry while Kyle Connor has been upgraded to play with Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine on the first line. These two changes hint that both Dano and Connor have shown the coaching staff enough to possibly stick around for the regular season.

The Jets should be able to win this game as they are playing their stronger roster tonight. They are starting their presumed starting goalie in Steve Mason and based on morning skate are playing their best guys, but we have all seen what has happened with the Jets in the past few games when they have played their top guys.
