The Winnipeg Jets will be playing a much less experienced group of players tonight when they face the Minnesota Wild in Miinesota. This is a different tactic than the Jets have used at home, which makes sense seeing as they are not playing for their home fans tonight.
The Jets have lost both pre-season games this year. Their struggles have been on special teams as always, but they have also had a hard time with defending at times. These have been two issues that have plagued the Jets for years and is part of the concerns with keeping the same coach and general manager who have failed to fix these problems.
The Jets will be looking at bubble players in this game. It is the perfect time for Marko Dano to play himself into a more favourable position and help management sparse who is actually NHL level and who will be cut. The Jets should be making a set of cuts soon to get the numbers down and allow there to be players at the Manitoba Moose’s camp.
