The first preseason game is upon us and the Winnipeg Jets are facing off against the Minnesota Wild. They will be playing at the MTS Centre Bell MTS Place. The Jets are icing a veteran roster that should be able to score some goals and entertain the fans.

Things to watch for:
The Penalty Kill:
Will the Jets be more aggressive on the penalty kill or will they continue to allow the other team to dictate where the puck goes. One thing that might work well for the Jets is the forwards they are playing feature a lot of aggressive penalty killers.
Marko Dano:
Quite possibly the most curious thing about the Jets at this moment is what or what isn’t going on with Dano. He was once the star piece in return for Andrew Ladd and now he seems to be on the outside looking in on the Jets lineup. What happened? It is hard to say. Maybe Paul Maurice feels like he needs to provide more offence? Maybe it is thought he takes too many penalties? Whatever it is, Dano is an interesting story of the Jets preseason this year.
