Mark Scheifele has improved every year he has been with the Winnipeg Jets. It was a toss-up between Scheifele and Trouba about who should be number one and number two. Scheifele’s skills make him the best forward the Jets have right now. While Patrik Laine will score more goals, Scheifele is the player that drives play and is capable of carrying players to better performances.

There is little to say about Scheifele outside of him being good. He has skill and he is emerging as a leader. Hopefully he continues to progress and helps the Jets make the playoffs and win the first playoff game in franchise history.

Tim: Trouba versus Scheifele wasn't an easy call for me, but it is hard to argue against a player who topped a point per game in today's NHL. It would be great to see Scheifele round out his two-way game in the coming seasons. The Winnipeg Jets will need him to drive play.

Brian: The future captain of the Jets. Mark Scheifele continues to take step after step to becoming a top five forward in the league. He's exceeded my expectations tenfold and is only going to keep getting better while continuing to develop chemistry with his linemates.

Andy: Mark Scheifele is the quintessential top 25 under 25 leader. His enthusiasm is infectious. His detail for the game makes him a future GM. He's only going to get better.
