Top 25 Under 25 2017: The Near Misses

Over the next few weeks, Arctic Ice Hockey will be running our annual top 25 under 25 Winnipeg Jets players and prospects. As is tradition, we will be counting down from 25 to 1. Bur before we get to the fun stuff, what about the prospects that did not make it? Who are they? Where were they ranked?

26. Nelson Nogier: Nogier actually played in the NHL this season so the fact he is ranked outside of the top 25 under 25 by AIH writers should tell you how broken the Jets defence was by the end of the season.

27. JC Lipon: Lipon played in nine NHL games in 2015-2016, recording one point. While he struggled last year in the AHL, he is also now competing against even more AHL players and prospects for NHL time. He was signed to a one year contract and it seems like it is time for him to prove himself or be moved to make room for the many forward prospects the Jets have coming up.

The rest of the players on the list are hard to say a lot about, so enjoy the average ranking of each player.
