These are where the Jets have their seven draft picks on day two. Judging by the picks last night, the Jets could end up with some highly ranked players later in the draft. While the Jets have needs that need to be filled, it is better to meet those needs through trades and free agency than the draft because drafted players are not sure things while trading for a player or signing for a free agent gets you a more established player.
The Jets having seven picks mean they should feel safe to trade to move up if a player that they really like is there for the taking. The draft was supposed to start at 9:00 am CST, but by 9:15 it still had not started in typical NHL fashion.
