The Winnipeg Jets and 30 other teams look to boast their teams’ prospect pools with the NHL Entry Draft. The first round will run tonight and tomorrow rounds two through seven go tomorrow morning at 8 am CST. The Jets currently own eight picks in the seven rounds with two of those seventh round.
If the lead up to the draft is any indication, the next two days could feature numerous deals that change the future of teams for the better or for the worse. We could also see the Vegas Golden Knights unload more defencemen as they drafted a lot of them. Players rumoured to be available include Alexei Emelin and Marc Methot amongst others. Other players rumoured to be on the move include Marco Scandella and Matt Duchene.
