There were two questions about the expansion draft. The first was when does everything happen and the second one is if the Jets can protect certain players.
When are things happening:

June 17: 4 pm is when teams submit their protected player lists to the NHL and NHLPA to approve.
June 18: 9 am is when the lists will be released to the public and the Vegas Golden Knights.
June 20/21: new NHL jerseys are unveiled (this date is a little foggy still).
June 21: NHL Awards and Expansion Draft
June 23-24: NHL Entry Draft
The only other question is if there is a way that the Jets can keep Adam Lowry, Mathieu Perreault, Joel Armia, and Marko Dano. If this happens the Jets
Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele, Bryan Little, Mathieu Perreault, Adam Lowry, Joel Armia, and Marko Dano. This means that only three defenders will be protected. It has been insinuated, mainly by a piece in a French paper, that the Jets only intend on going with seven forwards and three defenders if Toby Enstrom waives his no-move clause. If not, there is no way all these players can be protected.
Outside of these two questions, if the Jets make a trade with the Golden Knights, it has to be for something in return. That return can simply be “future considerations”. So they can trade a pick to the Golden Knights for the promise that Myers not be picked and call it a future consideration. This might actually be the best way for the Jets to work around Enstrom not waiving NMC.
So there you have it. Not a lot of questions, but the Jets can
