Jets call up Connor & Roslovic

The Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose announced this morning that Kyle Connor and Jack Roslovic have been recalled by the Winnipeg Jets.

Connor, 20, played 19 games with the Winnipeg Jets at the beginning of the season, notching 1 goal and 3 assists during that time. While in the Jets lineup, Connor was bounced around literally and figuratively, as he was placed anywhere from the 2nd line down to the 4th line, and was physically mismatched at times. The Jets decided that he be sent to the Moose, where Connor recently gained some steam, scoring 23 goals and 19 assists for 42 points in 49 games. Last year, Connor was the Big10 player of the year and a Hobey Baker finalist.

Roslovic, 20, has played for the Manitoba Moose all season, and has 13 goals and 32 assists for 45 points in 61 games, and was the lone Moose representative at the AHL All-star game. Roslovic also won a gold medal at the 2017 World Juniors.

In all, huge accomplishments for both young up and coming Jets players. Well done boys!

Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun comments that the following lines are being used in practice this morning prior to the team’s trip to St. Louis…

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler

Perreault-Little-Laine

Copp-Lowry-Armia

Tanev-Petan-Thorburn

Connor-Roslovic-Dano

With 3 games left in the season, I would hope they play at least one game. We’ll have to wait and see how the morning skate tomorrow shapes up on scratches and lines.
