Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks made no moves this week. Winger Jean-Francois Jacques, who last played in the NHL for the Anaheim Ducks in 2011/12, has been released from his contract in Germany with the DEL's ERC Ingolstadt.

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes made no moves this week.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins reassigned centre Austin Czarnik and winger Peter Cehlarik to AHL Providence.

Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres recalled winger Hudson Fasching from AHL Rochester. They recalled defenceman Taylor Fedun.

Calgary Flames

The Flames recalled goaltender Jon Gillies from AHL Stockton on an emergency basis.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes recalled centre Lucas Wallmark from AHL Charlotte. They signed goaltender Callum Booth to an entry-level contract. They reassigned Wallmark.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks signed centre John Hayden to an entry-level contract. They reassigned goaltender Jeff Glass to AHL Rockford. They signed centre Anthony Louis to an entry-level contract. They signed defenceman Luc Snuggerud to an entry-level contract.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche recalled defenceman Anton Lindholm from AHL San Antonio.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets reassigned centre TJ Tynan to AHL Cleveland following an emergency basis. They signed centre Sam Vigneault to an entry-level contract.

Dallas Stars

The Stars signed defenceman Gavin Bayreuther to an entry-level contract.

Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings made no moves this week.

Edmonton Oilers

The Oilers made no moves this week.

Florida Panthers

The Panthers recalled defenceman MacKenzie Weegar from AHL Springfield.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings made no moves this week. Winger Lucas Lessio, who attended training camp this past fall with Los Angeles, has been released from his contract in Sweden with the SHL’s Orebro HK.

Minnesota Wild

The Wild recalled centre Tyler Graovac from AHL Iowa.

Montreal Canadiens

The Canadiens made no moves this week.

Nashville Predators

The Predators recalled winger Miikka Salomaki from his conditioning stint with AHL Milwaukee.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils reassigned goaltender Ken Appleby to AHL Albany and recalled winger Blake Pietila. They reassigned winger Kevin Rooney. They recalled centre John Quenneville.

New York Islanders

The Islanders made no moves this week.

New York Rangers

The Rangers recalled goaltender Magnus Hellberg from AHL Hartford on an emergency basis. The Rangers reassigned Hellberg to AHL Hartford following an emergency recall. They signed winger Timothy Gettinger to an entry-level contract. They recalled Hellberg on an emergency basis.

Ottawa Senators

The Senators reassigned centre Phil Varone to AHL Binghamton. They recalled goaltender Chris Driedger. They reassigned Driedger.

Philadelphia Flyers

The Flyers made no moves this week.

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Penguins recalled winger Josh Archibald from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. They signed winger Zach Aston-Reese to an entry-level contract. They reassigned Archibald and centre Oskar Sundqvist. They recalled defenceman Derrick Pouliot.

The Sharks recalled defenceman Tim Heed and centre Ryan Carpenter from AHL San Jose.

The Lightning recalled winger Matthew Peca from AHL Syracuse. They have reassigned Peca and recalled center Byron Froese. They have reassigned Froese.

Toronto Maple Leafs

The Maple Leafs signed centre Miro Aaltonen to an entry-level contract.

Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks recalled winger Joseph LaBate from AHL Utica. They signed centre Drew Shore. They signed defenceman Jalen Chatfield to an entry-level contract. They reassigned winger Alexandre Grenier.

Washington Capitals

The Capitals reassigned winger Jakub Vrana to the AHL’s Hershey Bears. Defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk has been suspended two games for charging Los Angeles’ Kevin Gravel.

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets recalled defenceman Julian Melchiori from AHL Manitoba on an emergency basis.

The NHL has announced the NHL100 Classic, which be played at Ottawa’s Lansdowne Park between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators on December 19, 2017. The Canadiens defeated the original Senators 7-4 on December 19, 1917.
