Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets versus Tampa Bay Lightning

The Winnipeg Jets are stumbling just a bit down south and the Tampa Bay Lightning are one of the best teams in the league so this game is surely going to go great for the Jets. After Eric Comrie made his season debut in net against the Florida Panthers on Thursday, the Jets will turn back to their starter Connor Hellebuyck.

Tucker Poolman is still the team’s seventh defenceman and Ben Chiarot is back to playing with Dustin Byfuglien. Finally, the Jets will keep their forward lines intact, which makes sense with how good they are at scoring goals right now.

On the Lightning front, their offence is rolling and their defence is buoyed by the acquisition of Mikhail Sergachev for Jonathan Drouin. Sergachev’s puck moving ability helps drive that high-octane offence.
