Dustin Byfuglien Out Week-to-Week

The Jets defender suffered a lower-body injury during Saturday’s game against Tampa Bay.

Dustin Byfuglien is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks, after suffering a lower body injury against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

Byfuglien, who played just 16:54 in the OT loss, exited the game in the third period and did not return. The prognosis is that Buff will not return until after the Christmas break.

As a result, Tucker Poolman will slot into the lineup tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. Poolman has been a healthy scratch since being called up on November 19. The rookie appeared in three games earlier this season, before being sent down to the Manitoba Moose, where he had one assist in seven games.
