The Winnipeg Jets are taking on their division rival Dallas Stars with a slumping Patrik Laine in tow. If Blake Wheeler was struggling, than so is Laine, who has scored in a few games. Breaking his slump against the Stars would be a nice start. Beyond Laine, the Jets still need more from their defencemen and bottom six.

On the Dallas front, Brett Ritchie is out tonight and there is no news on a replacement. Except the Stars to be defensive minded as they are now a Ken Hitchcock coached team. Let the boring begin!
