Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs. Dallas Stars

The Winnipeg Jets are facing off against Central Division rivals the Dallas Stars. Dallas is headlined by Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. The Stars also have decent goaltending now in the form of Ben Bishop, who is better than their combo of Kari Lehtonen and Anti Niemi. With those days gone, the Stars are losing fewer games to inexplicable goaltending gaffs. It is also the first time that the Jets will see the Stars since Ken Hitchcock became their head coach.

While nothing is confirmed yet, it is likely that the Jets will once again turn to Connor Hellebuyck in goal. It is also likely that their lineup will not change, meaning Adam Lowry is still not quite ready to return from injury.

On the Stars front, I think it is a safe assumption that they will start the aforementioned Bishop in net. There is no indication that they will have lineup changes either, but no matter what happens with the two lineups, it will probably come down to which top six group can out perform each other while the bottom sixes attempt to not be the ones to lose the game for their respective teams.

The game is a 7:00 PM CST on TSN3.
