The Winnipeg Jets are coming off of a overtime loss in Pittsburgh last night. They are facing off against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Although it is unlikely there will be a morning skate this morning, the only potential lineup change that might be out of left field would be Adam Lowry being in without a morning skate. Outside of that, there will probably be no lineup changes.
Another change could be Steve Mason in goal. Mason is a really interesting player for the Jets as they signed him to solve their goaltending woes and yet Conor Hellebuyck is that player for the Jets early on this season. If this continues, Mason will find himself in the same position as last year when he was with the Philadelphia Flyers; a position he wanted out of.
The Jets inability to have four strong lines for various reasons could hurt them tonight as they are on the second half of a back to back. It is possible that they will play more players who are rested to compensate for this, but there are no indications just yet.
