The Winnipeg Jets (3-3-0) are back at Bell MTS Place tonight after a poor showing their last time out, which saw them fall to the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets by a 5-2 score, ending a three-game winning streak.
This time around, it’s the Minnesota Wild in town, who will be looking to improve upon their 1-1-2 record. The Wild also played the Blue Jackets in their last game, falling 5-4 in overtime on Saturday.
Brendan Lemieux makes his NHL debut tonight, and will be on the fourth line with Shawn Matthias and Nicolas Petan. Kyle Connor, who scored in his season debut on Tuesday, will be on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler, as Nikolaj Ehlers drops to the second line with Bryan Little and Patrik Laine.
Connor Hellebuyck gets the start for Winnipeg. He’ll be countered across the way by Devan Dubnyk.
Ben Chiarot gets his first game of the year, as he bumps Tucker Poolman to the press box.
