Preview: Winnipeg Jets at Vancouver Canucks

After a win in their last game against the Edmonton Oilers, the Winnipeg Jets look to make it two in a row against the Vancouver Canucks tonight in Vancouver. The Jets will hopefully be able to capitalize on the Canucks lack of anything this year and beat them soundly. Of course, it is the Jets so this is unlikely.

The Jets appear to be without the services of Dustin Byfuglien again and will turn to Tucker Poolman once again. Poolman was good in his NHL debut, playing alongside Tobias Enstrom. He will be looking to repeat that performance again tonight.

It is likely that the Jets will go back to Steve Mason in goal, even after Connor Hellebuyck was solid against the Oilers. The Jets clearly view Mason as their starter right now and therefore are playing him like a starter.

The Jets should have the advantage upfront with their top two lines, but as always the bottom six can be a bit concerning. It is the norm here.

This is a late game for the Jets, starting at nine pm.
